We continue the national deployment of handheld application technology!

What Is Tech Track?

Tech Track is a technology solution that includes the use of handheld devices for drivers to execute pick-ups and capture signatures on delivery. With the deployment in Woodstock, Windsor and Toronto over the next two months, this will conclude our national deployment. Tech Track also provides an order management application and dispatch software for more effective trip planning.

How Will this Benefit You?

Our new mobile communications technology allows us to streamline our operations in order to serve you more effectively, while, at the same time, protecting the environment.

• Optimized pick-up and dispatch.
• More accurate flow of information.
• Online Bill of Lading (BOL).
• Online Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Receiver’s signature available in real time.
• Enhanced visibility to pick-up history.

How Will this Impact You?

The two major areas where you will see an impact are the provision of the Proof of Delivery (POD) and booking a pick-up.

• 1. Paperless Proof of Delivery (POD)

You will no longer receive a paper POD. However, you can either access the delivery details on our website or retrieve the POD if you are registered for Online Shipping (Secured Services).

• 2. Scheduling a pick-up.

You will schedule your pick-ups online or through our Customer Care Centre (CCC) for maximum efficiency. Our drivers will no longer have the ability to accept pickup calls directly for customers.
